Medical Assistant- Assists physician or practitioner in providing basic, supportive patient care in clinic setting. Conveys a positive image of clinic. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and administering medications as directed by physician. May be assigned to specific medical specialty.
