Visalia Medical Clinic, Inc. is contracted with several insurance companies to accommodate our patients and their medical needs. Medicare and several other insurance plans are filed automatically by the clinic when the proper information is provided to the clinic. The patient is expected to pay all co-payments and services not covered by insurance at the time of service. As a courtesy to our patients, we will also file a claim if the coverage is through one of our non-contracted insurance companies. Our Patient Representatives are available to assist you with billing and insurance questions from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Private pay patients (patients not covered by our contracted insurance carriers) are required to pay for all services at the time they are rendered. A deposit of $250.00 is requested on the first visit to the clinic. In extenuating circumstances other payment arrangements may be made with one of our Patient Representatives, we will be happy to discuss your individual circumstance.

An injury resulting from an accident (auto, home, etc.) is usually covered by insurance other than your health care carrier and should be billed to that liability carrier. We will be happy to assist you with that billing. You will also be required to make a minimum payment of $100.00 each time you come in for services. The clinic does not accept a lien for charges connected with an accident.

A statement of your account will be prepared and mailed to you on a monthly basis, when there is a patient responsibility portion due.
